One half of TC Studio, Matei Tulbure isn’t a new name for a while now. Their production team is responsible for releases on labels such as archipel, be chosen or all inn. His greatest inspiration comes from the likes of Lars von Trier, Tarkovsky or Kubrick but John Cage, Thomas Brinkmann or Moritz von Oswald also have an important role in his sonic upbringing. Matei was one of our two bookings for the first Danube-event in Berlin at Anomalie with a long and intense afterparty at Katerblau. He also delivered the first edition of our podcast series.
