Praslea and Raresh together as Praslesh. As our friends from Trommel once wrote: “one of minimal’s most innovative duos”. We couldn’t agree more. One of the reasons why this music has taken us on so many occasions and has kept us ever since.
Raresh was one the first DJs overall who got our attention. He appeared in one of the loveparade videos back in 2007 when even youtube was still young and we didn’t really start to think about going to clubs and raves. A nickname which popped up in a book about the romanian electronic music scene was “google” for his encyclopedic knowledge of music. Praslea followed and made his name known for sets with a continuous flow without people even recognizing that a new track was already mixed in.
Together they’ve been responsible for countless memories of sets full of ups and downs where you never know what exactly to expect. We are thinking for example about a fascinating set before Zip at VBX in the amazing club called Shelter. For us another really special one was at Picnic Fonic in 2021. The festival took place in the middle of nowhere next to a beautiful lake with nothing but pure nature. They played for hours and made our first festival experience since the pandemic one to remember.
