As a pioneer of minimal electronic music, Ion has been pushing boundaries and creating groundbreaking tracks since the mid-2000s. With a background in notation, percussion, and guitar, his sound combines elements of classical and jazz with tribal and poppy undertones. He played some of the biggest dance music venues in the world, including Berghain/Panoramabar and Fabric. At the end of his set at the Danube Festival 2023 a big rain surprised us which is why he needed to finish in a very special way under a rain tarpaulin. Something we will never forget.
